Welcome to my studio!

I started working with Stained Glass art by taking a class at a local shop. I was hooked after class number 2! That was back in 2008 I think, and I immediately set up a "shop" in my laundry room. I easily outgrew that after a few years and moved my studio to my husbands office after he passed away in 2010.  Jon Roop was a Sailor and Captain of many vessels in his life; hence the name Captain's Quarters Stained Glass.

Below are pictures of my studio and work areas along with my best helper, Fuzzy Roop!  I have a wonderful work space  that allows me to build panels quite large. I also teach classes when I can (when the work table is not packed with projects!) and will post available classes here on my site as they become available.

The website is a work in progress that I hope to add to often.  Stay tuned and visit when you can!
